有一首用英文唱的圣诞歌叫什么名字
1,《平安夜》Silent Night
《平安夜》是奥地利的一个小地方的小乡村教会的神父Joseph Mohr在1816年写的歌词,曲作者Franz Gruber是当地的一位默默无闻的音乐老师。
据说当时是因为小教堂的管风琴坏了,所以Mohr神父要Gruber先生为他写的这首歌谱上用吉它伴奏的曲子应急。歌谱后来由修管风琴的人带出来,外面的世界才得以知道这首歌。这首歌很快传开受人喜爱。今天它已经几乎成为圣诞节的官方“节歌”,被译成多种文字。
2,《普世欢腾》Joy to the World
《普世欢腾》是伊萨克・沃茨(Isaac Watts)于1719年写下的圣诞颂歌,原文本有独立的七个段落,现有的音频资料是根据原文缩编成曲的。所要传达的信息是欢乐和爱取代了罪与忧愁。这首圣诗被广泛传唱。
3,《圣善夜》O Holy Night
这是一首着名的圣诞颂歌,该歌曲是阿道夫・亚当在1847年为法国诗歌《圣诞午夜》谱曲而成。原诗歌的作者是一位酿酒师普拉西德・卡波(1808―1877),亦是一名诗人。
4,《齐来崇拜歌》O Come,All Ye Faithful
《齐来崇拜歌》(拉丁语:Adeste Fideles)或依歌词首句称作《齐来,宗主信徒》,是约翰・弗朗西斯・韦德1743年创作的圣诗曲调。该歌的起源并不明确,有可能于十三世纪就写成了。
奥克雷(Frederick Oakeley)在1841年将部份歌词从拉丁文翻译成英文,威廉布鲁克(William T.Brooke,1848―1917)后来又增加部份歌词的英文译文。约翰朱利安(John Julian)的圣诗辞典(A Dictionary of Hymnology),认为这首诗有八节。
迄今已有大量歌唱家演唱过这首歌曲,它也成为圣诞常用音乐。
5,《听啊,天使高声唱》Hark!The Herald Angels Sing
又称《新生王歌》,是一首着名的圣诞歌曲,由弗里克斯・门德尔松作曲,查尔斯・卫斯利作词。《听啊,天使高声唱》是一首描写耶稣降生,极有深度的圣诞诗,其中包含了纯正的教义,对经文也有极丰富的引喻,是查尔斯・卫斯利所作的6500首圣诗之一。
